Dr. Randhawa is a licensed clinical psychologist (CA#:PSY30552) who specializes in working with adults. Dr. Randhawa obtained her doctorate and M.A. in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco, B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from University of California, Irvine. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at University of South Florida with an external rotation at James A. Haley Veterans’ Affair, and her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente, Roseville.
Dr. Randhawa has 12 years clinical experience working in various clinical settings providing individual and group therapy. The clinical settings include, general outpatient, in home treatment providing behavioral therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis, college counseling, Veterans’ Affair, and hospitals.
Dr. Randhawa has supported individuals with varying diagnoses ranging from anxiety and depression to complex posttraumatic stress disorder and personality disorders. Dr. Randhawa works with young adults to seniors. She practices primarily using a cognitive- behavioral lens, while integrating trauma informed care, person-centered and psychodynamic approaches, when clinically indicated while considering cultural factors.
Dr. Randhawa provides an attuned and nonjudgmental space to clients and aims to work collaboratively with clients to achieve their therapy goals. It is an honor to hear her clients’
stories and she partners with her clients to identify maladaptive patterns, gain insight, learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms to promote healing and live life aligned with ones’
values.
